NOTE: Gen1 rim contour is more rounded than Gen2 or Gen3
 
Specifications guide:
Rim sizes from wide to narrow: 1,2,3,7
Cup depths from deep to shallow: XLV, LV, XL, L, M, S, XS 
Plus (+) models: Intonation setting is less forgiving/less flexible than Gen2/Gen3
Standard (no +) models: Intonation setting is slightly more forgiving/more flexible than Gen2/Gen3. 
 
Throat sizes: XLV+, LV(+) = 4.0mm
XL, L, M = 3.9mm, or 3.8mm as indicated to the right of the rim and cup sizes.
Example: 1XL 3.8
S, XS = 3.8mm
 
*Note: Players coming from Monette or “Symphonic settings” from other brands or Bach Megatone will prefer models with 3.9.
 
Rotary players will prefer the XLV+ and LV(+) models
